Goodbye Ellie

One of our turtles, Ellie, died last night. She was a little over ten years old. Christina noticed she was sluggish on Friday, and I took her to the vet on Saturday morning. The doctor said she had a respiratory infection and gave her a shot, but by this morning she had passed. Ten years isn't very long for a turtle. I'm afraid the move, and being out of her tank, placed a lot of stress on her. She wasn't the healthiest turtle because her shell had grown in tight, constantly rubbing her neck, and after she lost some claws they never grew back correctly.
