Collateral
I just watched Collateral. I wasn't expecting it to be any special, but turns out that it is a very well made movie. There is an extreme amount of depth to the characters played by Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx. And that is the true focus of the film. The rest of the film's content is just the staging ground within which the two of them expose and struggle with themselves.
I also very much enjoyed the environment presented. The hard-toned soundtrack and the real backdrop of L.A. kept things moving and immersive. I was a little surprised to discover Paul Oakenfold's "Ready, Steady, Go" remixed with Korean vocals. I think this is a movie worth watching again.
