Be Cool
We were going to watch Pride and Prejudice today, but Blockbuster was out. So instead we picked up Be Cool, the sequel to Get Shorty. Alla, Sasha, and Paul came over to watch.
Be Cool was decent, but not great. Paul was very entertained by it, and I think Sasha enjoyed it as well. But Alla and I didn't think it was as great. It was interesting, and there were a number of entertaining moments, but I majority of the film simply lacked direction. Certainly each scene had purpose, and there was a great deal of attention paid to details. Sometimes you had to pay close attention to see a joke, which was not given center stage. But I can't say it is a movie I'd watch a second time.
